http://www.meetup.com/Photoworks/events/121204282/Photographers are blessed with some extremely sophisticated and complex equipment but even though we all have access to similar equipment we don't all take great photographs; indeed when we see a wonderfull photograph we rarely congratulate the photographer by complimenting them on their equipment, more often we will say that they have a "great eye!"

In the grand scheme of things it seems we forget that developing the eye takes time and practice, yet we devote less time to this important aspect than we do to learning photoshop or gaining an understanding of the camera controls.

The only thing that differentiates the great photographers is their ability to see and express their vision strongly.

In this class, Ian will challenge you to use your eyes. He will give you techniques to develop your vision and will set you well on the way to developing your own way of seeing.

This class is suitable for all levels and requires an SLR and a willingness to try some new ways of looking and seeing. A tripod will also be useful though not essential.

The group will be limited to just 8 people and the cost will be $40. The class will be outdoors and will run from 10am until 1pm pm.
