A day exploring and photographin the Southern Coast of Maine with Ian on hand to give instruction and guidance. Meet at 10am in York Maine­

Monday April 9th – Introduction to Studio Lighting, Pembroke 7pm – 10pm $45

A great Introductory class on using artificial light in a studio setting.

Covers continuous lighting and studio strobes. Also introduces you to simple lighting techniques.­

Saturday 14th April- Light, Water and Art – Provincetown Intermediate Workshop 10am

A chance to work with Ian in a small group as you try out techniques and approaches to take your skills to the next level, Not for beginners – you must be familiar with your camera controls to attend.

The Four Key Elements in One Day

A last chance to get the four elements course in just one day. This workshop combines the four essential ingredients you need to be a great photographer into a single workshop for just $55, This workshops is normally run as a series of four evening classes at a total cost of $160.­

Lighting the fine-art nude

Just one spot left on this unique opportunity to try out some of the challenging skills required to artfully light human skin. With just four shooters and a professional model you are bound to get plenty of time to shoot and lots of individual instruction. Learn how to handle the intricacies of post processing for portraiture. Includes a great skin softening technique that many professionals use. Based mainly on Lightroom and Photoshop but will be relevant for those who use Photoshop Elements 9 and above.

What you need to know to be a professional wedding photographer. All the hints, tips, tricks and pitfalls explained by experienced wedding photographer Ian Murray.­

Saturday April 28th – Waterfall Workshop in the White Moutains. Full Day just $90

Join us as we tackle several waterfalls in the White Mountains and capture them while they are their most forcefull. A full day waterfall workshop covering the Kancamagus Trail and Crawford Notch with a break for lunch in North Conway. All the falls are within very easy walking distance of the road. Ian will provide a handout and expert instruction on how to get the best shots. Group is limited in size to just 8.­

Sunday April 29th – Flash Fill and Reflectors a workshop on outdoor portraiture 10am -1pm $45

If you are interested in photographing people then this workshop will teach you how to get the best outdoor shots using flash and reflectors. There is a limit of 8 participants and there will be a model for this class. Just $45. The location will be outdoors in Plymouth.­

Sunday May13th (Mother's Day) on location portrait and lighting shoot – Fort Revere, Hull

3pm – 7pm

We return to the exciting location of Fort Revere for a location shoot with a model.

We will try out various lighting techniques with Speedlights. Suitable for Canon and Nikon users.
