Whether you shoot portraits for money or your friends and family for fun, nothing can beat a well processed portrait. A classic portrait, whether it's a dreamy romantic soft focus shot of a bride, a modern dramatic outdoor teen shot or a smiling cute toddler always needs to be enhanced during post-processing.

Join Professional photographer, Ian Murray,  as he walks you through some of the simple techniques he uses to enhance his stunning portraits.

The class will cover Lightroom and Photoshop and will begin by assuming you have little or no knowledge and will build to a point where you will feel comfortable creating your won time saving presets and actions that will quickly add mood and drama to your photographs of people.

In addition to a set of notes from the class you will walk away with a wide selection of Lightroom and Photoshop presets on CD that you can easily load and use in your own post processing. There will also be a collection of useful actions that you can use plus videos that will show you the professional way to sharpen a portrait and teach you how to smooth skin without it looking airbrushed.

With a reputation for stunning high-end portraits and forty plus years of shooting people,  Ian is an expert on using post-processing techniques. He has used both Photoshop and Lightroom since they were introduced and has amassed  a wealth of techniques and actions that he will willingly share with you.

The class will run from 10am until 3.30pm in Pembroke and costs just $60
