Our new member is here from Russia for a very brief visit and he wants to ride real bad. So do some of us. The ride will originate in the east valley so that Eugene can find it ok.
Here's the scoop:
From the QT we'll take the Beeline and down through Saguaro Lake, the Salt River then up to the 202 EB. The 60EB and do the Winkelman Loop.
Once at Globe we will refuel we head back to Miami and to Roosevelt Lake. Depending on the weather and time, we may take a side trip up the 288 to Devil's Chasm and back down.
Lunch will be at Jake's Corner then the Beeline home to the QT.
It will be pretty chilly either way and if the weather changes much we will right along with it. Either way it's a full day's ride.
DEPARTURE TIME IS 9:00. Ride distance is just under 300 miles.
