  • Common Kraut Questions -

What is Sauerkraut?

  • Easy-to-make and exceptionally delicious- sauerkraut, aka fermented cabbage, is highly nutritious and a perfect intro to the world of fermentation.

Why eat sauerkraut?

  • Cabbage, the base of sauerkraut, is already an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, manganese, folate, beta carotene and antioxidants. During the fermentation process, these nutrients break down and become easier to absorb. The process of fermentation increases the vitamin content and adds digestive enzymes- great for both your digestive health and immune system. Plus, it's crispy, refreshing and delicious.

Sauerkraut is vegan-friendly, vegetarian, paleo, gluten-free, low in sugar and high in fiber.

How do you make it?

  • That's what this workshop will teach you.

How do you eat it?

  • Add some to your mashed potatoes, include it in your salad for a nice crunch, or just eat it on it's own as a simple yet fulfilling snack- the applications for sauerkraut are far and wide, limited only by your imagination.
