Hello! I started this group because I was new to the area and interested in meeting like-minded people who also share my addiction to Pinterest. How many times do you pin an awesome DIY project and then never end up making it? Pinterest Party Pals was designed for fellow crafters of all skill levels to unite and create a unique project inspired by something you found on Pinterest, while socializing and sharing ideas with other members.
Maybe you are an expert in one particular area (sewing, pottery, etc.) and would like to share your skills with the group. If so, please let us know, as we're always looking for opportunities to learn from one another.
You should only consider joining this group if you meet all three of the following criteria: A: You are a friendly, creative female in her 20's or 30's interested in making lasting friendships. B: You love Pinterest and want to meet up with other Pinners to actually make the crafts that you have pinned. C: You can make a commitment to the group, meaning that when you RSVP "yes" to an event, you actually show up! And if something comes up and you can't make it, then please please please just let us know and change your RSVP status. No-shows are the worst!
No solicitation or advertising, please.
Gatherings are held mostly on weekends in the Media/Springfield area, however, we are always open to meeting at different locations. Some meetups will be theme-based. You will be responsible for bringing your own craft supplies based on a project that you have pinned, as well as a homemade snack from a recipe that you found on Pinterest.
