I have played around with HTML, Java, Ruby and OOP in general, but I am not a developer, per se. More like a wannabe entrepreneur. I want to work with software developers and have enough background to know the limits of computation, etcetera. I interface very effectively between a highly diverse spectrum of individuals including software developers and technophobic Baby Boomer executives.
Again, I am familiar with the basics of HTML, Java and Ruby but haven't made much more than a 3D game of battleship and a few TI-83 programs back in High School.
SaaS primarily, as this type of service would allow for continuous revenue streams and a customer/developer feedback loop. Another type of startup I am interested in is the type of startup likely to get bought out by a Microsoft or a Google.
I have a great many ideas, and some capital, but I'm only 24 and am more interested in learning from others first.
Well, one of them is an app of sorts I'd like to call "Cookie Monster". Another is an interfacing idea between a mainstream auto company (like Ford) and a mobile device app. Another two are companies which would be geared towards getting scooped up by Google or Microsoft as an upgrade to their existing (mapping/travel/nav) services. Another is a vague one---an SaaS service for car infotainment systems. There are more. Again, I'd like to work FOR a startup right now.
Hello, I am a recent graduate from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. At school I studied Finance and Entrepreneurship with a brief stint in Biochem. I have tinkered with HTML, Java & Ruby and am interested in Boulder startups.
