Details

Special Intro

7:00 - Remy Porter will present a lightning talk on improv as part of our new Code & Supply & Me series. Learn a little about our members and some of their non-code hobbies

Feature Presentation

7:15 - Erik Swanson will finally present an introduction to the Julia programming language.

Julia is a high-level dynamic programming language designed to address the requirements of high-performance numerical and scientific computing while also being effective for general purpose programming.

This presentation will cover the basics of the language with a mix of hands-on and lecture materials over 45 minutes with time for Q&A after.

This is targeted to people who know basic programming concepts. You don't need to be a professional developer, if you know what a for loop is, you'll be fine.
