Paths to Light meetup

Hi everyone,
As a new organizer I just wanted to take a minute to let you know my story and relation to the center. I first found A Place of Light through this meetup group. It was a little over two years ago and there was a potluck in October I decided to go to. I was nervous because I went by myself and didn't know what to expect. The guest speaker talked mostly about his business of clearing energy from structures (homes, businesses, etc.) The talk was great but more importantly it was wonderful to be around a group of people talking about this "paranormal" stuff I've been interested in all my life. Afterwards Susan invited me to the Living in Your Heart class that was going to be starting up soon. I've been going ever since.
It's extremely hard to put into words a description of what you gain from coming to the center. The main reason for this is because everyone relates to Spirit in there own unique way. Coming to the center has allowed me to truly connect with the universal energy that is in all things. It's not about a westernized style of learning where after a few months you'll get a certificate and be "qualified" to practice Native American energy work. It is a constant learning and evolving process. It's about understanding and being connected to all things.
I would be happy to talk with anyone, about anything really. What's holding you back from visiting? Are you searching for something specific? What brought you to this meetup group to begin with?

This email has gone out to everyone in the group and replies will also go to everyone.  I also posted the above message as a discussion on the meetup page.  That might be the best place to respond so peoples emails don't get bombarded.  I'm hoping this discussion will help to show where everyone is at and ease any hesitation you might have.
