Sewing Boot Camp (Beginning or Return to Sewing Sessions)

This is a beginning sewing class designed for those new or newly returned to sewing. It is designed for those who have not attended boot camp previously. The $60.00 class fee consists of a 1 year membership to ASG ($50.00) and a $10.00 kit fee for the first two projects. Please register at www.ASG.org - select the PLANO Texas chapter at least one week prior to class. The $10.00 kit fee will be collected the first night of class. The last 4 classes will be a project of your choosing, you will supply the pattern and fabric.

Class size is limited to 5. Class dates: Aug. 4,11,18,25 and Sept 8, Sept 15 makeup/extra class. Each student must bring a sewing machine in good working order to class. Take it in for maintenance if you are not sure.
o If you have purchased a new machine, take it out of the box and try to become a little bit familiar with it before arriving.
o Bring the following basic supplies to class:
Sewing machine needles (Universal 90 will work for everything we are doing)
Bobbins
Zipper foot
Scissors
Pins
Thread
Seam ripper
Seam gauge First class - basic sewing instruction, make a snap bag - materials supplied

Second class - all about zippers, make a zippered bag - materials supplied
