You must be actively seeking plastic surgery or have had plastic surgery to participate in this group.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO JOIN THIS GROUP TO PARTICIPATE. Plastic surgery is a personal and private experience. If you do not want to officially join via Meetup, but would like to connect with other patients in the group, you can call or email me to talk about alternate ways of becoming a Member.

I am a former patient of plastic surgery (rhinoplasty, cleft lip, cleft palate). Though the internet has come a long way, I could not find the information I needed when looking for my last surgeon. So, this inspired me to create something better.

One of the reasons for this Meetup is for me to connect with a few of you to see if you had or have the same problems I had looking for a surgeon and to translate those needs into a helpful product for patients. Our discussions will hopefully lead to helping millions of people every year.

In addition to sharing our challenges, this Meetup is also for you to get help in your plastic surgery research from other local patients or to help other local potential patients in their search.

Finally, this Meetup is not initially intended for group events (but let me know if you’re interested!). Initially it’s more for individual patients to meet up (or chat) with each other. We’ll evolve as we grow. We may become a consumer advocacy group.
