• Laura (https://twitter.com/lluizesc) will talk about how to integrate the Handlebars (http://handlebarsjs.com/) template engine with Play!

As you might know, the play framework integrates per default the twirl (https://github.com/playframework/twirl) template engine. But play lets you also integrate another template engine if twirl does not fit your needs. Laura will explain why her team choose Handlebars and how it was integrated in a play application.

• I will show how type classes work in Scala, and explain be the way how the Json Reads/Writes/Formats work under the hood.
