This group is to get parents involved in teaching their toddlers and preschoolers through play. Exploration, curiosity, imagination, creativity, and most importantly, play are key elements in how I hope to see our children learn. Every activity or meet-up planned through this group is for our children’s pure enjoyment. I hope to see them (and you) having so much fun that no one even realizes that learning is going on.
We will go into each meet-up without any expectations, time limits or restrictions; because the extent of “Play2Learn” is based upon what our children want to be involved in with each activity. As moms, we will not be standing over our children telling them what to do and how to do the activities, but sitting next to them - playing with them.
If you are willing to jump in and help prepare special activities AND participate in them with your toddler or preschooler then this group will be a perfect fit for you and your child.
Workbook activities are no fun, lets LEARN BY DOING!
Whether we will be learning to count, recognize colors, shapes, etc. OR life skills like folding laundry, washing our hair or cleaning let’s do it BIG and together! Every activity is sure to be over-the-top!

Let’s have some busy bag swaps, share some of our favorite books and just PLAY… what ya say?
The most awesome thing about “Play to Learn” is that most activities can be accomplished by using our own backyards, our own supplies and our community resources. Very little, or nothing at all, will need to be purchased for all of our meet-ups.
We will keep our group small and close-knit as possible by setting a member limit of 30. I will be asking that members pay a 1yr due of $5.00 to help cover the meet-up organizer fees as well as any supplies we may need along the way. Dues must be made at your first meet-up. If our group is full please contact me and I will add you to the waiting list. I urge anyone who may be considering to join “Play2Learn” to think about how much they will be willing to participate within the group.
Thank you so much, I look forward to meeting you!
