Getting Great Interview Subjects for Your Podcast and Getting Noticed

If you have a podcast or are thinking of starting one, finding good interview subjects for your show can be a challenge. Well, James Kinson got Pat Flynn (of the extremely popular Smart Passive Income podcast) on his second show! But wait, there's more! On his seventh show, he interviewed Entrepreneur on Fire's John Lee Dumas! Quite an accomplishment for a new podcaster. James is a rising star in the podcasting world.

James Kinson recently started the Cash Car Convert podcast where he teaches listeners how to buy a cash car and "kick auto debt to the curb!"

"While I learned about the danger of debt recently, I learned about how to buy good used cars through nearly 40 years of trial and error. I believe I know how to find good inexpensive used cars and can help others do the same. Freeing them to kick auto debt to the curb."

James is going to talk about how he started his podcast and how he has managed to get such

We'll start networking at 6 PM. We'll also set aside some time for everyone to introduce themselves and their podcasts. This is going to be a great event for DFW podcasters to get to know each other.

I had a great time! The audience was very kind and I really enjoyed getting to personally peak to many of the people in the room. Thanks to Mitch and Gary for giving me the opportunity to speak!

It looks like I'm going to be stuck at work longer than planned. (We're starting a software release.) I still intend on trying to make it, but if more tasks come through, unfortunately, I'll have to be a no-go this evening.

    Hello everyone,

I am excited about this meet up. I want to be of value to everyone here. If you have a podcast post the link here and I will listen to it and leave a (favorable) rating and review, I know how important those reviews are.

I have an old, evergreen podcast at roadtripfromhell.com (fiction), and I currently do a weekly show called Men in Gorilla Suits, which has become a mix of philosophy and all things geeky.

And for the record, I was replying to Gary's question. I wouldn't expect anyone to automatically leave a favorable rating for the stuff I do...some people may be thrown off by the language in some episodes. But it's a very cool and kind offer from Rey.
