First Hard Lesson for the Self Publisher Writer

Last summer, just prior to a Self-Publishing workshop at Norfolk State University, I was conducting an interview on a local TV Station - WAVY TV10. The host, Mr Don Roberts asked me a profound question which I responded with a lengthy but good enough answer. The interview was a success and drew a great response from the public and the workshop was a smashing success!

A few weeks later, as I was sitting at home critiquing my interview and rehearsing more clear and concise responses, when I realized the answer I should have given that day, to that particular question.

His question was; What is the first hard lesson you learned as a published author?

The Clear/Concise & Correct Answer: The same number of people who paid you compliments before your book is published, may not be willing to pay you money after the book is published!
