Sketching from the Skeleton Up
Details
Vertebrate animals share an evolutionary history that is visible when comparing their skeletons. This internal structure, once understood, provides a foundation for drawing the external features of a fish, reptile, mammal and more. During this light hearted day of color exploration we will be using colorful chalks provided by Ane Carla, our goal is to create a ‘gestaldt’ image, built upon scientific observation. Students will leave with at least two completed animal drawings as well as many skeletal and color explorations. All levels welcome.
