This tutorial is for developers who are curious about what the big deal is with the Scala programming language. We will look at nine compelling features of Scala that will hopefully impress you and inspire you to explore both the language itself and its applications.
You! - Lightning Talks
Lightning talks are short (5 minute or so) talks about whatever you like. Because they're so short you can do whatever you want in your 5 minutes. Hopefully it will appeal to programmers! ;)

We're looking for speakers! It's OK if you've never spoken before or if you've spoken hundreds of times, we want to hear from you!
We're looking for talks about anything interesting to programmers, come share about your favorite language or framework, or learn something new and talk about how it went! We're hoping for talks about anything but here are a few things members have mentioned wanting to learn about recently: Go, C, C++, Haskell, Erlang, and Elixir.
