The Persians, the Germans, and the Greeks all debated issues sober and while drinking their favorite intoxicating beverage. In Plato’s Symposium, great minds gathered around to drink and engage in intellectual discussion, becoming more animated and fanciful as the hours and the drinks add up.

We are trying to recreate this atmosphere with this book club.

Each book will be roughly 200 pages, and so easily readable in a month. If you want to read it and talk about it over a few beers, that would be great. If you just want to show up because the topic seems interesting, come on ahead.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
