In this talk Tristan and Sina will present on overview of OpenStack and include a demonstration of OpenStack creating virtual networks and servers in an OpenStack cloud.

Tristan Goode - CEO of Aptira (http://aptira.com/) and OpenStack Foundation (http://www.openstack.org/foundation/) Board Director. Over 25 years' experience in the IT industry has given Tristan a solid reputation as an innovative architect in systems infrastructure and enterprise solutions. Forward-thinking with strong attention to detail, Tristan has been responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining solutions for the likes of BTR Nylex, NEC, OzEmail, Intel, and iPrimus. Tristan has an unwavering commitment to exceed expectations for both the business and the customer, and is driven by his personal desire to create unique, effective solutions for any requirements Aptira's customers may present. Tristan is a founding and currently sitting Board Director of the OpenStack Foundation, an OpenStack Ambassador, and the founder of the Australian OpenStack User Group.

Sina Sadeghi - Director, Cloud Operations, Aptira (http://aptira.com/). After leading the engineering team that designed, built and operated the first 2 nodes of the world leading OpenStack based Australian University research cloud, NeCTAR, and prior to that working on HPC and large scale compute projects for the University of Melbourne and CSIRO, Sina is now focussed on the commercial delivery of OpenStack and related products and services in the service provider, enterprise and on premise cloud space. Sina is acknowledged in the global OpenStack community as a renowned thought leader for OpenStack, cloud and related technologies.
