Intel's Private Cloud and a Deep Dive into CF Service Brokers

Our next meetup will be hosted by Intel and offer two topics.

Topic #1: Brent Debban, Intel IT Platform Service Owner, will share Intel's approach to providing a production enterprise private cloud which includes PaaS and IaaS capabilities based on the Cloud Foundry and OpenStack open source projects. He will cover the current state of their services as well as the future direction.

Topic #2: Jeff Holmes from Pivotal will offer a deep dive into Cloud Foundry service brokers, which are a means to encapsulate provisioning logic for services such as Redis, MySQL and Hadoop clusters that are consumed by Cloud Foundry applications. The talk will explore the architecture of services brokers, provisioning strategies and implementation options.
