Basics of Mining and Analyzing Tweets

This is the inaugural meeting of The Portland Data Science Group. Portia Burton will give a talk on what exactly is data science and how to capture and analyze tweets with the twitter API and IPython. The presentation is aimed towards beginners. The rest of the time will be spent working on projects.
