Welcome to our website. We're an independent part of the national Depression Bipolar Support Alliance located in Chicago (www.dbsalliance.org.) We launched this website in 2009 so that people with mental illness could easily find our meeting and other meetings on the internet. Today, we have grown from one support group to THREE thanks to the determination and dedication of our members to our communities. The three groups are: DBSA Portland Eastside, DBSA Portland LGBTQ and DBSA Exploring Bipolar Wellness in Washington County. You can find more details about the meetings on our calendar.

You can find more  information about other support meetings (see Pages) in the Portland Metro area. Between NAMI, Bipolar Recovery and DBSA there is a support meeting almost every day of the week and on some days more than one!

If you come to any of the meetings, you'll meet people living with depression, bipolar disorder (aka manic depression), schizo-affective, anxiety, PTSD and other mental illnesses.

We've been there ... we can help! Hope to see you soon!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
