The Sweet Spot of the Lesbian Universe

The goal of Les Femmes PDX is to intentionally build a cohesive, harmonious, safe, thriving, happy, healthy community for Portland lesbians on the feminine side of the scale who want to spend time with other femme lesbians for friendship, fun and... we'll leave it at that. :)

Whether you're new to Portland or you've been here a while, welcome! If you're just out of a relationship and forgot to make your own friends while in it or lost them in the split (oops!), we got you!  If you're a femme couple or the femme in a couple and you're missing hang time with just the girls, we are your people!

We'd love to see you at Femme au Lait, our casual Saturday morning gathering that rotates around the Portland area to different cafes.  Its a great way to get to know us, especially for new members. No agenda, no cliques. Everyone just clicks. Coffee is on us the first time you join us. Do we need to make it any easier?

When you fill out your profile we'll ask for your ideas and what this group can do for you so you'll want to stay involved, host events, and tell a femme friend or two (or six!).  But first, a few simple guidelines:

1. By consensus, we lean towards the L in the LGBTQEIEIO alphabet soup. So please... be female, be a lesbian, be femme.  We get there are various degrees of femme. You know who you are!

2. Use your real name and your main profile photo should always be an identifiable photo of you.  We're a private group and it's important and fair that your co-members know who you are.  If you have a valid reason for why it's not possible, please email us before joining.

3. Be respectful, be happy, be genuine, be you! We don't like drama. Its as simple as that.

So come in, or out, or whatever the case may be, femme friends. (You know you want to!)  Our theme this year is "Let's Go Together, Girls!"  and 2013 is already rocking. We'd love for you to help us kick some meetup ass (without smearing our makeup!)
