Introduction
Hi , well i'm just getting back into doing more in the outdoors and am looking forward meeting more people. I definitely need to learn to ski and snow shoe as this looks like alot of fun.

Any ideas for hikimg/backpacking between cristmas and new years?
"Looks like i will be oiut of work form Dec.24 thru jan.1. Any ideas where one could go and enjoy some lovely hiking or backpacking? Preferably in the states that is.....LOL. Thank you for any ideas, Gregg"

"Most likely one of the best hikes i have personaly been on. Especialy enjoyed walking in the new snow and the great views along the trip. And yes the dogs were fun to hike with as well!"

"This is actually called the Ross Jolly Trail . And the off trail section is probably 100 yards long in distance."
