Food was great, as was the crowd. About the only issue I can think of is that the ambient noise level was so high that conversation was a bit of a challenge.

Thanks to CrowdCompass for an awesome event. Yes it was loud, yes it was crowded, but man was it fun!
Thank you CrowdCompass for hosting this great event today! Had a few good conversations and look forward to more next time. ~ Cheers all!
These are great events. Good networking! Sorry I didn't meet more people ...
Excellent! Wonderful space, good conversations, and thank you Lauren for all the obviously hard work!

Seriously, Lauren, it was a great event. Congratulations!
Many thanks to our hosts taking their time (and money and space) to put on this event. Sure, it was crowded. Sure it was a bit loud. And sure was a great event to meet and greet so many talkative people. THANK YOU CrowdCompass!
very good, although crowded. Would be nice if the name badges listed affiliation as well as name and "what kind of technology are you interested in" -- food was good too!
Lunch 2.0 was 2 crowded. Too loud.

Kevin and crew, Thank You for (seemlessly) making Lunch 2.0 happen. Happy Holidays!
Great food, great space, great people. Thanks Crowd Compass. I didn't think you'd pull off hosting 200+, but I was wrong. Well done.
Thanks for hosting, Crowd Compass. Met a lot of new people and saw a lot of familiar faces! Good times were had. :-)
Kevin and crew, thanks for a terrific event! The company was great, and the pies weren't bad ;-) (Seriously, the vegetable pie was yummy!)
Anyone who wants to talk electronic marketplaces, hit me up at lunch. I'm in sponge mode.
i do musical instrument electronics? maybe that might be helpful..
Nial - not sure. We do wine. I'm currently looking at tools for building electronic marketplace for use in upgrading our wine marketplace.
Gah! I just got off a call, how long is this going on? Will I have time to saddle up and bike over?
Don't drive - parking is hell.
I regret I will not be there as well. Thank you for being such a great company! Have fun today!
I wont be making it today. I look forward to meeting many of you at the next one in January. Thx to the organizers!
If anyone is interested in personal analytics and quantified self, find me. I'm building a product in that field and would really like to hear from you.
How are 276 people going to fit into your space, folks????
Is this a case of "biting off more than you can chew"? LOL
I'm very curious about this as well? And feed everyone?
We could be chewing on each other's woolie hats. Stay tuned!
Sorry, "wooly," not "woolie." Sheesh!
Looking forward to meeting new and seeing familiar faces.
Where's the best place to park?
prob best to find street parking a couple blocks north of division off 11th or 12th
Technically there isn't a best place to park. Bike, walk, or transit like Bus #4 or #70 is the best options. Just sayin.
I recently moved up from years of captivity in Los Angeles, and I am finding the entrepreneurial scene up here to be fresh, exciting and much more exciting than anything I've seen in either SF or LA. Portland 2.0 is an outstanding event, as networking events go. Looking forward to it!
Ah crike! I won't make it today. Thanks to Rick, CC and everyone bringing these together! See you in January - but say hello before that: http://twitter.com/arosic
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I am looking forward to visiting CrowdCompass and networking. Find me and say "hello" [hint: my hair is now black] My company is Bold Ventures Consulting / aBusinessPlan.com. For nearly 2 decades we have planned, facilitated and launched new companies and new divisions for our happy clients. I function as a start-up facilitator, enterprise analyst, strategic advisor, venture finance catalyst, investor liaison, author, and speaker. aBusinessPlan.com has been quietly writing some of the best business plans in the country, crafting them to highlight exactly what the venture investment community wants to see. We have also prepared companies for IPOs, skillfully handled both pre- and post-IPO investor relations and written compliance documents. I speak venture investor language thanks to my 20-year background in top-tier Wall Street investment banking, and because of that, my company is a favorite referral of Venture Capital Funds, Angel Investor Groups, and top law and accounting firms.
Kevin, Thank You ....

"What’s Lunch 2.0? It’s an opportunity for Portland startups—and those companies interested in the startup scene—to open their doors, cater lunch, and invite a bunch of folks to come join them. Originally started in Portland by Jake Kuramoto, the event was a fixture for the Portland startup scene and connected a number of folks in town." (Thanks Rick!)
Now, it’s back. At CrowdCompass on December 6th. Come join us for a hour of lunch and networking. The event is free but please RSVP on this Meet-up page.

just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
