Evening MST3K Meetups & Food/Drink Minimums

Hey folks, just wanted to run something past everybody:

It's becoming more and more difficult to reserve the Meeting Room at the Hollywood Library, so I'm starting to put some feelers out to local places that have meeting spaces available.  The majority of them are 21+ clubs with either Food or Drink minimums, but don't charge for the space itself.  What I'm picturing is reserving about a 3 hour slot with enough time for watching 1 episode of MST3K, a short Rifftrax, and then allowing some conversation before and after the show.

This would be for the months that I can't get the Hollywood (such as February), and would be Evening meetings - probably on Saturday or Sunday night, but <maybe> during the week depending on availability.

So I just wanted to ask 2 questions of everybody:

(1) Are you interested in coming to one of these Evening Meetups, even though they <might> be 21+ and could have food or drink minimums?

(2) Do you know of any great locations around the area that I should check out?

Please keep in mind that we will STILL be doing free, all-ages double feature Meetups at the Hollywood Library as often as we can book them!  This is NOT to replace doing those events, but simply as something that will allow us to meet more often as a group.

So please reply back to me with your answers to Questions 1 and 2, I'll gauge the interest in arranging one of these.  If it looks like enough of us would come to these kinds of Meetups, then my intention is to get one booked for February.

Any additional questions or comments, please reply to this email and let me know.  If anything additional comes up, instead of emailing the entire group, I will post on the Message Board on the Meetup site.

Take care and stay warm, everybody...

Thanks,
Mr.Shemp
