Please Note: Our previously scheduled presenter, Jonathan Turner, needed to reschedule, so the meeting details have changed as follows. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Node is nice for developing modern applications. After all, it's a server-side, JavaScript framework that integrates with everything and has a huge community. You'd be living under a rock if you didn't know how prevalent Node was.

But, even with all it's popularity, there's one thing that Node (and JavaScript in general for that matter) lacks. Static Typing!

Well, have we got a treat for you! This meeting is all about TypeScripting a Node application.

That's right!

Putting Types to JavaScript.

Ken Howard will show you the ins and outs of writing a Node application in TypeScript from the ground up. Come and bask in all the glory that is TypeScript. And, hey, why not bring a friend?

Let's get our Node/TypeScript on!
