Hometown: nowhere and everywhere
October 27, 2013
Just folks to share wilds and sours and other funky treats. In my old digs, our beer group had a great time with focused bottle-shares, social homebrewing sessions, and becoming super welcome guests at the bars with the funkiest selections.
We had a riotous affair and fell passionately in love. But somehow that mellowed into a profound friendship without hard feelings. We are soul mates, really; we have dalliances with others, fall in and out if love with them, but nothing will touch what we have.
Rodenbach Vin de Cereale. I'm not sure it would hold up if I had it now (it was a few years ago in the company-owned bar in Belgium and I haven't found it in the States). It was a fabulous Flanders Red without the soda pop experience of the more available ones. Usually, I'm much more a fan of a Cantillon Iris or the such. Really, I like all of them unless they are sugary or have Chamomile in them.
No. I hate doing dishes.
Absolutely! My building has a great event room too that I need an excuse to use!
I'm a beer scene gadfly with a preference for wild and/or sour beer styles over all others. I'm starting to try to keep up with the beer scene and food treats of PDX with tweets @gourmandeer
