Are you joining because: A) you're curious, B) you have an interest in writing, C) social interaction, D) you want to learn techniques, E) you want to obtain feedback on your work, or F) you're interested in marketing or publishing your work?

My friend Josh Lohrius has a fantastic book out called "The Breaking of Goody Boothe," which manages to be both hilarious and profound. It's available on Amazon and I can't recommend it enough.

How would you describe what you write (i.e. fiction, memoir, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?

I studied fiction writing (novel) at the University of Chicago and have one book out now and another on the way. I'm also currently writing the true story of how my wife Jennifer and I were chased South Korea by her powerful family and the police. I post one part of the story per week on my web page and link it to Facebook, so please friend me there if you're interested in following along!

Hello, everyone. I was a trial lawyer in Chicago for a number of years and have now moved to Portland to write books, which I suppose makes me a Maine cliche. I'm also a founding board member of the community networking group Think LOCAL!
