We're getting together to talk iOS this next 2nd Thursday Oct 13th. As usual I'm looking forward to meeting the new and longtime members and seeing what's on your mind and further fleshing out how we might be of use to each other. If any of you have something you'd like to share with the group -- it might be an app you're working on, or that you've gotten published and want to spread the word. Maybe you've been working with a particular framework and have made some discoveries, or are stuck and need a few sets of knowledgeable eyes to lend a thought about how to solve your issue(s).
And: I'm interested in hearing your requests for what topics you'd like to see discussed and which snacks you'd like to munch. Maybe you're in need of some basic hands-on help with provisioning or more basic demonstrations on getting view controllers to work (newbies welcome). If no one contacts me with such interests in the next week or so, we'll proceed with the standard general agenda of getting acquainted and a less formal discussion, which works fine for me. I'm making progress with the Core Data project I've been working on and will be willing to share that and more.
The meeting will be over by 8:30 at the latest. As of now the meetup is scheduled to be at 4Tell in the Old Port area, but might be changed, so please just watch the automated announcements that come your way as the 13th approaches.
Please email me directly at [address removed] and/or call if you'd prefer to discuss anything on the phone.
Thanks for considering coming.
Either way: best wishes,
