Hi John,

It was a pleasure to finally meet you.  Thanks again for your redoubled effort to get in.  I hope we'll have that problem solved for next time.

I appreciated hearing about your project and how it's now possible due to the new state of privacy. That's the kind of thing that I love to have brought up in the group.  Thanks!

I'm available to meet online or in person most days if you'd like to further discuss how I might help design the interface and/or do some of the programming.  One thing I've been able to do for other startups is collaborate to create a comprehensive wireframe showing all the functionality and placeholder interface elements expected in version 1 of the app.   That's where I'd recommend we'd start once a desired feature set was determined. To help develop that feature set you might try writing up a list of 'user stories' describing in the first person what someone would be able to do with the app, such as:

  • As a doctor user  I can conduct a 2-way secure teleconference with the patient which is wiped from memory after each use.
  • As a doctor user I can present and clearly point to details of graphics from the iPad photo library during the teleconference
  • As a doctor user I can email notes and documents to the patient from the app"
  • As a patient user I can call the doctor's office phone, and so on.

Having such a list, which can start to get long, allows developers and visioneers such as you to discuss priorities and keep the app focused on its mission. If you'd like to send a draft of that kind of list my way I could get started showing you how I imagine some of the interface to look as a starting point / audition for that role in your team.

Whether you work with me on it or not: best of luck making it a reality!
