The Portland Women's Gaming Group Message Board › Saturdays this June

The next 3 Saturday nights on the Portland Women's Gaming Group are *gasp* empty! Would you like to step up to the plate and host a game night?
All you need is (a) attendance at at least one other PWGG event, (b) space for 2 tables = 8 players (if you don't have enough tables or chairs, don't let that stop you: it's quite likely someone else will volunteer some), and (c) just enough commitment to follow through.
You can create your own theme if you want (like bar-b-que in the back yard and bring your dog, too; or build your own margarita night; or Let's Play [insert name of your favorite game here] ... anything within reason), don't need to offer any food or drink if you don't want to (hey, make 'em bring their own, if that makes it better for you) ... and you know gamers always bring their favorites, so even if your gaming collection is small, that needn't hold you back. It's also a great way to entice others into your neck of the woods, iffin' you don't live in central Portland like the most frequent hosts do.
You can offer it in the afternoon, or Friday, or Sunday, or Thursday ... as long as you don't compete with another event already on the calendar, it's all good. My experience is that if you post an event, odds are high that others will show up.
Interested but intimidated? Email Heather (flowerpot icon).
And a big THANK YOU to LAURIE who is hosting TWICE this month!
