EDINBURGH Positive Money Meetup - Talk by Ben Dyson, Wed 2nd Nov

Ben Dyson, the Founder of Positive Money, will be speaking at the second Edinburgh MeetUp on Wednesday 2nd November. The last Edinburgh MeetUp was so well attended that we've had to move to a bigger venue this time around. We're aiming for a big turnout on this one. Please spread the word.

Note, this will be Ben's second speaking engagement in Scotland, after Glasgow the evening before.

Venue:

The Royal Scots Club is a well-known and very spacious venue in the centre of Edinburgh, with excellent conference facilities. It is located in the "New Town", beside Queen Street gardens, and between Dundas Street and Dublin Street.

The event is free, although a small donation of your choice towards the hire of the premises will be appreciated (the rate is very reasonable for the excellent venue).

Various Money Reform books, literature, and DVDs will be on sale, the proceeds of which will help us cover the expenses associated with bringing Ben to Scotland for his 2-day tour. There will also be hard-copies available of Positive Money's 60-page A4 "Bank of England (Creation of Currency) Bill" – the "Plan B" which our politicians need to know about.

Time:

We are meeting up from 6pm. From 6.30pm there will be a presentation with questions and discussion with Ben, which will last to around 8pm. After this, those who are able to make it will be very welcome to stay for drinks in the venue's bar.

Coming by Train:

Waverley is the nearest station and you can walk, which will take around 15 minutes, or you can get a taxi from the station.
