Can radical new policies end the financial crisis ?

The financial crisis continues with politicians short on ideas to end it. At this meeting the link between new policies to solve the crisis will be presented:

Ben Dyson, Director of Positive Money on Full Reserve Banking

Lembit Opik on the Citizens Dividend

Tony Vickers, former chair of ALTER on Land Tax

Talks with discussion to follow chaired by Ed Joyce

    Interesting to hear details about policies such as banking reform, Land Value Taxation and Citizens' Dividends. Some of the details about how the banking system works were news to me, e.g. the 97% figure. Ideas like citizens' dividends need more fleshing out. Hope the LVT Bill on 9th November gets a fair hearing.
