Devrim doesn't come to town

Unfortunately, Devrim Gündüz, a major contributor to PostgreSQL and a well-known community member, had to cancel his Berlin trip because of an emergency.

Nevertheless, we have some exciting talks waiting for you.

Many thanks to our speakers:

• Susanne Schmidt, a long standing community member and open-source advocate, will talk about pgTap, a unit-testing framework for your PostgreSQL database. She'll give an overview of PgTAP's usage, it's capabilities and in particular illustrate how "cheap" testing can be to give a taste of in-database unit testing.

• Feike Steenbergen, a database engineer from Zalando, will deliver a talk and a live demo of highly available Postgres cluster appliance called spilo, developed as an open-source project by Zalando database team.

The meetup will take place at SkyLounge, a beautiful space on the upper floor of Zalando office, Mollstr. 1. We start at 19:00 with bagels, beers and more - so that people can pay attention to the speeches. Please, bring your photo ID to get through the building security.
