POSTLIGHT SUMMER SESSIONS—VIDEOS FROM AMERICA'S BASEMENT BIN/with Virginia Heffernan, Choire Sicha, Katie Notopoulos, Steve Burns, Alan Scherstuhl, and a margarita machine .

The founders of Postlight unofficially maintain a carefully-curated collection of the most surreal, awkward, and illuminating short videos ever posted to the Internet. Many of these videos are, in fact, long gone from public circulation—their creators no longer want them seen. Over the last decade we've carefully downloaded, tagged, and stored them. They've never before been shared in an open, public forum.

On Thursday, July 28th, 2016, we're going to assemble a panel of cultural experts and show them a small selection of the most confounding or unsettling short videos from our collection. We'll ask them to help us understand exactly what we've seen. And we'll take questions from the audience.
