Do you have trouble losing weight? Or do you lose it, then gain it all back? Are you sick of having your weight be a constant issue in your life? Would you like to be at your ideal weight, do it easily and effortlessly, and then stay that way, without having to think about it all the time?
This is a weekly meeting for people that want to lose weight, developed by Suzy Prudden. It has worked for thousands of people, helping them lose weight easily, and naturally – and most importantly, to keep the weight off permanently. We do it without dieting, through support, addressing the mental and emotional things that make people gain weight, and by changing the relationship people have to food. , so that "Nothing tastes as good as being at your ideal weight feels!"
The best part is that this way of doing it is actually FUN, and it really works. People lose the weight that has been dragging them down -- and they keep it off!
Here are some of the things we will cover in this program:
1. Stress Reduction.
We all have so much stress in our lives, and this leads to the cortisole response, which causes most people to gain weight, even if they don’t eat more! Many people say that with the economy the way it is, the stress reduction part of the program alone makes it worthwhile.
2. The brass tacks of weight loss.
Losing weight can be really simple. We help participants choose the right foods, eat them in the right order, (without dieting) and select the exercises that will work for them, and accelerate the weight loss process.
3. An antidote to Procrastination and Self Sabotage
Many people find that these two destructive patterns stop operating in other areas of their lives as well.
4. Simple Energy Secrets for Tired People on the Run
Mental and physical exercises to help participants to create optimum health, and more energy than they ever thought possible!
5.Ways to learn to love the body you live in.
Yes – it’s not only possible – you will actually do that! Including your thighs, your butt, your tummy, and whatever other body parts you currently are having a hard time with!
This is a 12 week format, and some people just stay for the 12 weeks, while others enjoy having the support and sense of community, and decide to stay longer.
This particular Meetup takes place in Suzy Pruddens's office in downtown El Segundo, but it is possible to do the same format anywhere. We also do it in people’s homes, conference rooms, and offices.
We use a variety of methods, including Creative Visualization and Relaxation and that part is recorded, so the members can listen to each process over and over again, at home. One reason this is such a successful format is the accountability and support within a controlled and positive environment. We also provide cutting edge nutritional information.
We sometimes use light and sound machines, (kind of like Ipods on steroids) which make it possible for people to relax and go into the Alpha and Theta state, and that allows them to make lasting changes quickly and easily.
