So, we're good at something, but does anyone else really care about that until they know we care about them? 

 

There is a story a friend of mine told me a while back of a real estate agent...a GOOD real estate agent friend of his who passed away after having lived a very full life.  The memorial service was attended by over 3,000 people.  Why that many?  Because this man, although good at real estate, had mastered the art of appreciating others.  The amazing thing was that my friend told me that this person didn't start out that way.  Over time, he mastered the art that led him to not only great financial wealth, but also, and more importantly, great interpersonal wealth.  He died a happy man and shared that happiness every day with the people in his circle of influence...to the degree that his memorial service was so widely attended.

 

This skill...this art of appreciating in business...in life...this is the secret to wealth.  This is what attracts others to us regardless of whatever else we are good at.

 

This meetup group is designed to explore becoming a master appreciator...the great examples and lessons of people that have come before us, the best tools available to us for expressing our appreciation and most importantly, the content of what we say or write when expressing appreciation.  The members of this group all share the desire to add this to our "I'm good at" list:

 

I'm a master appreciator, listener, giver and leader and because I am, I live a life of financial and interpersonal abundance.
