Founded
July 12, 2009

My wife and I started this group as a way for adults, children and families to become more acquainted with the Chinese culture and to learn/practice Chinese.

We also run a play group for kids to practice/learn/speak Chinese on facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=147087983855&re...

We hold meetings at restaurants, tea shops and coffee shops for adults who want to practice their Chinese. We focus on practicing Chinese versus talking about Chinese things in English.

My wife taught Chinese for Providence University for 8 years.

What members are saying

To practice speaking Mandarin in a somewhat structured format. It was good to have a Chinese born speaker and an English born speaker who understood Chinese to better present the lesson. ...

bal

It's a great place to learn and practice the Chinese language.
