KICKSTANDS UP @ 730AM!!
For those of you that have had the pleasure (lol) going on scavenger hunts with me so that I am able to eat gluten free foods are well aware what a pain in the arse it is just to avoid it being a pain in my tummy-And I thank you!
Let's meet up and ride to UMBC and walk/run (I'm walking...even if it is only 3.1mi lol) for a good cause that is near and dear to my heart..i mean tummy :-)
Please join me in teaming up against celiac disease. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease that is triggered by the protein gluten, found in wheat, barley, rye and other grains. It can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms include anemia, weight loss, chronic fatigue, osteoporosis, infertility, and a variety of gastrointestinal problems. Untreated celiac disease can be life threatening. One out of every 133 Americans has celiac disease and most don’t know it.
Participate by joining my team, TABBY'S TUMMIES and/or make a donation with me so that we may increase awareness and raise funds for research and local and national celiac initiatives. Should you decide to participate...
