Guest Speaker: Brian Cohen -Professional Angel Investor, Entrepreneurial Mentor and Technology Marketing Strategist (First Investor In Pinterest)

Come join Brian and discover all there is to know about Angel Investing. Learn how Angel Investors work; what they look for in Entrepreneurs, and their investing philosophy. Brian will share stories of some of the investments he made and how he arrived at those decisions.

Get actionable advice on raising money and Entrepreneurship.

Brian Cohen

Chairman, New York Angels

Brian now serves as the Chairman of the New York Angels who has invested over $45 million in more than 70 early stage companies.

Brian launched a next generation self-publishing PR news platform called Launch.it in May 2012 with the belief that all new products should be easy to discover, find and share.

Brian is considered the father of science & technology strategic communications and founded Technology Solutions, Inc. in 1983 supporting startup technology companies in computing, communication, software, education, and entertainment. For more than a decade he maintained a strategic communications partnership with Sony & IBM. TSI received the Gold CIPRA award for creating the IBM Deep Blue/Gary Kasparov Chess Match communications program. In 1996, TSI was the #1 fastest growing agency in the US. The McCann Erickson World Group acquired TSI in 1997.

As a researcher, Cohen created Focus Technology, an organization providing qualitative research and instituted the RPM model of integrated communications.

As a publisher, Cohen was a pioneer in the founding of a number of the first computing publications including Computer Systems News and InformationWeek magazine.

Brian is now writing a book on "What Every Angel Investor Wants You to Know: An Insider Reveals How to Get Smart Funding for Your Billion Dollar Idea" which will be published by McGraw Hill.
