Karthik is the founder Socialblood, Inc. He went to Rutgers University in New Jersey to study computer science but dropped out after a year and went back to India to work for SocialBlood.org. In 2011, He won the Ashoka Staple's Youth Entrepreneur Award and Biz Kids made a TV Documentary series about their work, In 2012 They won the Kairos Award as one of the 50 most innovative companies run by young people and in 2013 He was selected as one of the 5 Kairos Impact Fellows and got nominated for the MIT Top Innovators under 35 list (India).
Status.io is on a mission to enhance transparency and keep customers in the loop during downtime. Our platform enables organizations to maintain a customized public system status page, external to their infrastructure, that always displays the current health of their app, website or service.
Joe Nicosia is the creator of Status.io. Previously, he co-founded Droplat and held engineering roles with Comcast and Vonage. Joe loves troubleshooting emergency outages in complex environments while under intense pressure.
