Speaker: Lynette Young, Published Author and self-professed Tech Geek

Topic: The Myth of the Overnight Success: How to Build an Iceberg in 25 Years or Less

There is a myth in the online space about lucky people that become an “overnight success” out of nowhere. It’s bunk. Or more specifically, an iceberg. However you look at it, it takes a lot more than showing up to the party to achieve success.

Lynette Young has been a technology and marketing professional for 25 years, one of the earliest bloggers and podcasters, and now a huge Google+ fan. She has amassed an incredible 1.5+ million followers on Google Plus, making her currently the 154th most followed person and 55th most followed woman in the entire world.

Find out how it took her so long to become an “overnight success” – including how to dig deep and find your own version of instant stardom. Through this talk Lynette will share stories and insights from her quarter-decade long career from corporate technology to entrepreneurship - and what you can pull from your own past to create future success.

Lynette is a star speaker and recently gave the opening keynote speech at the massive New Media Expo blogging conference in Las Vegas, along with Penn Jillette, Leo Laporte and others. Please join us to enjoy an entertaining and inspirational speech while learning how you can succeed like Lynette and stand out among the crowd.

I'd like to introduce a foundation supporting mental health care. Is this of interest. Not quite a tech venture, but an important initiative to build the back half of a broken mental health care system in this country. About the foundation: www.femhc.org. About me: www.psychodyssey.net.
