During our August 9th discussion, we were undecided between two "must read" books and decided to pick both of them, sequentially.

Here is our upcoming schedule:

October: Sexual Politics of Meat (more description to follow - I just started the book and am so far finding it very engaging and interesting)

November meeting: We will be meeting early in the month, probably going to Infini-T cafe. Stay tuned for details.

December meeting: Our holiday meeting is traditionally upbeat (based on last year) and we'll watch a film about people who have made a commitment to veganism ("Live and Let Live" documentary from 2013).

January meeting: We will read and discuss "The Sixth Extinction" by Elizabeth Kolbert (those who have read ahead are giving it rave reviews!).

So those are the plans! Stay tuned for more details....

The Princeton Public Library does not advocate or endorse the viewpoints of meetings or meeting room users. The $5 charge mentioned above is a suggested but not obligatory donation to help me to cover the room rental, food, and movie screening fees. These much-appreciated donations may be placed on the table in the room where we meet.
