Legal Hackers Data Control & Transparency Hack

Hello Everyone,

We are holding a mini Hackathon, In conjunction with MIT Legal Hackathon and the Open Notice Initiative.

The main purpose is to talk about hacking data control with the law and technology. To see what is going on in other communities. As well as to develop a data control tool for people to Take Back Control of Personal Data.

We are planning a live vid feed with MIT folks at and we have a couple of topics in progress.

• Intro to Consent Receipt

• My Data Control Campaign
(Point out how policies are not compliant or consent no longer valid and test the boundaries of personal data control and sharing)

• Lexicon of Data Control

• Collecting terms and project names for data control and its usage.

e.g. Indie Box, MeCommerce, MyPermissions.
