ProductTank AMS - Cross device strategy

Details

Hi all, it's time for yet another ProductTank edition! In this edition, we're going talk about Cross device strategy.

How do you cope with the fact your (end-)user wants to use your product always & everywhere, and, more specifically, with the use of all of his devices?

Our 3 speakers will tell you all about the cross-device strategies at their company.

We will touch questions such as:

  • How can you offer the best experience to your user? What are the pros and cons of building a responsive site (and -app) vs. one (or more) native apps? Did HTML5 fulfil its promise of decreasing the gap between native and responsive apps with regards to user experience?

  • What's best practice on maintaining/developing both native apps and a website? How do they relate in terms of functionality?

  • What will the future bring us? Will there be a shift from native to responsive, comparable with the shift on desktop from on-premise software to SaaS? And what about new devices?

----------------
