'Four Laws of Software Economics'

There are some fundamental laws of software economics that should drive executive-level decisions about business and product strategies. It’s easy to forget them, or decide they don’t apply to our special situation. (Gravity’s not just a good idea, it’s the law.) We defined a few, including:

• Your development team will never be big enough

• All of the profits are in the nth copy

• Software bits are not the (whole) product

• You can’t outsource your strategy

Noel Tate (https://twitter.com/noeltate) - Senior Product Manager @ Adverts.ie (http://www.adverts.ie/)

'Optimising your sprints to achieve your targets'

Using the 3:2:1 ratio (and other tips) to get the right balance of stories and tasks into your sprints to improve NPS, hit KPIs and keep your dev team happy.

"The '3:2:1 ratio' is a method I have used with teams to try and get the right mix of backlog stories, bug fixes/performance improvements and dev's choice stories into each sprint. I'll show examples and stats of how it helped us to treble our NPS score, hit some other targets and give our dev team freedom to try things out and make their lives a bit easier."

Look forward to seeing you all there, and please do spread the word!
