Inaugural Meetup (Talk on Four Laws of Software Economics by Rich Mironov)

Details

ProductTank is a global meetup for product people, by product people, and we're finally coming to Silicon Valley! We are kicking off the Silicon Valley chapter with a great speaker in Rich Mironov, Product Management Guru/CEO of Mironov Consulting, and plenty of drinks/snacks to start the conversations.

6.30-7pm: Check-in & introductions
7-8pm: Four Laws of Software Economics by Rich Mironov
8-8.30pm: Networking & wrap-up

Four Laws of Software Economics
There are some fundamental laws of software economics that should drive executive-level decisions about business and product strategies. It’s easy to forget them, or decide they don’t apply to your special situation, but they are important. He will talk through a few including: Your development team will never (ever) be big enough, and
all of the profits are in the nth subscriber or nth copy.

Rich's Bio
Rich coaches product executives, product management teams and agile/lean development organizations. He also parachutes into software companies as interim VP Product Management. Rich has been the “product guy” at six start-ups. He is a relentless blogger, speaker, teacher and mentor: founding the first Product Camp, blogging on software strategy since 2002, and the author of The Art of Product Management.

A huge thanks to Intuit (https://www.intuit.com/) for hosting this meetup and providing the drinks/snacks!
