About the Speakers:

Matt Smith is the Product Manager for Skyscanner’s White Label and ‘widget’ products. This sees him managing important relationships with major platforms such as Yahoo. Matt's background in Marketing, Communications & Customer Service has informed his approach to product management which he will share with us.

Skyscanner for Business is the arm of Skyscanner which aims to “power the travel internet”. But powering some major brands’ sites, with their competing needs, different types of users and pace of change, becomes a delicate balancing act when ultimately they all rely on Skyscanner’s expertise. Some of the topics Matt will cover include:

• Data Driven Decisions: Making users’ travel decisions easier

• Making travel relevant within the context of content

• Limitations: User Journeys, User Flows and A/B testing on hundreds of sites at once

Ross McNairn is a senior product manager at Skyscanner, leading the TravelPro team. TravelPro is Skyscanner's free corporate travel planner, taking the hassle out of travel booking for small to medium businesses. Ross has previously been a lawyer, a software engineer & has cofounded a startup which Skyscanner acquired. He will explain how this breadth of experience has informed his approach to product leadership.

TravelPro is the nascent corporate travel side of Skyscanner, disrupting the corporate travel market by re-inventing the distribution of travel services. Ross McNairn will give an introduction to Skyscanner’s approach to product development and re-inventing your business model on the fly!
