September Casting and Crewing meeting UPDATED

In September we will be producing a Horror film. If you want to be a part of this production, be here at 7, ready to volunteer. Cast, crew, extras, everyone!

As soon as I can, I will post sides in the MORE section above.. look for FILES and download the sides. Actors, - please bring a headshot and resume'. Crew please bring a short resume'. Everyone bring a good attitude!

We will also be hosting our Screenwriters Meeting, for a short session.

Here is a breakdown of the characters.....

CARTER (protagonist) a young man (early - mid 20's) with a passion for history and languages. A student at the local university, he comes into possession of a rare old book, which he begins obssessively attempting to translate. He begins to become more and more obsessed with his new tome, and the secrets it contains, and slowly loses his grip on reality. Becoming tormented by groutesque visions of unnameable horror from beyond the walls of reality.
*note: the actor chosen to play Carter must be able to portray a wide range of personae, from bookworm history-nerd, to unhinged, obssessed lunatic.
EMILY (Carter's girlfriend) Early 20's. A student of art, she is the voice of reason to Carter's growing instability. She is a practical person with a passion for art, and a distaste for things that are ugly, dirty or old. She is very much in love with Carter, but is disturbed by his growing obsession with his new book, which she finds creepy.
SHOPKEEPER: Older person (male or female) Owner of the store in which Carter purchases The Book.
JAKE: Male, mid-20's. CARTER's college friend. An intelligent young man, but much less reverent of history and antiquity than Carter.
LIBRARIAN: Older person (male or female) who elaborates somewhat on the origin of the Book, and points Carter to a section of the library where he learns more about it. An intellectual. Slightly stuffy.
DETECTIVE: Middle-Aged male. Interrogates CARTER in the final scene of the movie. Gruff and intimidating, but subtle.
There will also be several extras that we need for the shoot. Some students in the library, a customer or two for the bookstore, and 4 or 5 cultists for one of CARTER's dream sequences.
